In order to be a success, the skills data space needs to get traction and show the value it can bring through powerful implemented use cases. It also needs to establish trust and ensure openness so that all players can join.
DS4Skills proposes a growth and roll out strategy that relies on two axes: the support and scaling of a trusted Data Space Governance Authority and the launch of the skills data space through some targeted large high value use cases to gain adoption and showcase the model. This growth and roll out plan can be co funded by the Data Space for Skills Implementation project of the Digital Europe Programme and can be supported by the EDGE-Skills project led by Prometheus-X [EDGE-Skills].
